Faraway horizons // I took this photo in a cotton field in the central west about a year ago. At the time we were experiencing some serious car-heartbreak, dreading an impending attempt to limp home over the Moonbi ranges, where we might just cook the engine for good. As far as heartbreaks go there are much worse to be had, but I remember thinking how nice it was that the world still insists on tending to its beauty and lyricism as much as its sorrow and petty frustrations.
