HOW TO: PAINT A DENIM JACKET

Check out my latest Youtube video on how to paint and customise a denim jacket… Some of you may remember the time-lapse painting from a while back, but I realised I never really shared it widely when I originally shot it… plus this video breaks it down into the key steps of how to paint on denim.

Hope you enjoy!

I HAVE A YOUTUBE CHANNEL!

Very new to this, very shy and nervous… but I’m embarking anyway. I’ve launched my Youtube channel here.

So far it’s just a little intro video to say HELLO!

All thanks to my Patrons for encouraging me with such kind and supportive community, and enabling me to make more strange and beautiful things to share with the world, and hopefully incite and inspire some creative ramblings. To check out what’s happening on my Patreon, click here.

PATREON POSTCARD: LOTUS QUEEN
raychponygold_patreon3.jpg

The Patreon-exclusive postcard print for March was the Lotus Queen…. something developed out of drawings and a dream that I’ve only shared with my family, friends and Patreon family.

This piece really embodies the beautiful experimentation and exploration that the Patreon community has allowed me to grow within: they really are the custodians of the best illustration work I’ve made in a long time.

Thank you.

SKETCHBOOK UPDATE
Sketchbook40-web.jpg

A little reminder… all my sketchbook update pics (and pretty much everything else I have to share!) are now being posted to my Patreon. You can check it out here.

My Patreon works like this: for the cost of an expensive coffee or a cheap beer (however you want to look at it) each month, you get exclusive access to my sketchbooks, timelapse and process videos, digital downloads (like the 2021 Moon Calendar, monthly phone and tablet backgrounds, and special Valentines love notes — which could be used year-round, of course!), tutorials, unpublished works, etc… So far, there’s nearly 50 posts up there to browse through. I’m also a lot more accessible on Patreon (I can answer questions about art, processes/style and creativity, and accept requests/suggestions for drawing topics). And if you like tangible things, you can jump on the higher tiers for a monthly postcard mail-out (the subjects of which I accept request on too!).

Anyway, my Patreon community is solely responsible for all the best work I’ve created so far this year; I’m beyond grateful for their interest, encouragement and support.
