A little reminder… all my sketchbook update pics (and pretty much everything else I have to share!) are now being posted to my Patreon. You can check it out here.

My Patreon works like this: for the cost of an expensive coffee or a cheap beer (however you want to look at it) each month, you get exclusive access to my sketchbooks, timelapse and process videos, digital downloads (like the 2021 Moon Calendar, monthly phone and tablet backgrounds, and special Valentines love notes — which could be used year-round, of course!), tutorials, unpublished works, etc… So far, there’s nearly 50 posts up there to browse through. I’m also a lot more accessible on Patreon (I can answer questions about art, processes/style and creativity, and accept requests/suggestions for drawing topics). And if you like tangible things, you can jump on the higher tiers for a monthly postcard mail-out (the subjects of which I accept request on too!).

I wasn’t going to print posters of the Follow the Moon 2021 poster (instead I originally offered it as a digital download). But I’ve had a few requests for it, and have opened a week-long pre-order… so if you want to grab one, jump in now!

After Feb 28, these won’t be available again, as well as most of the products in my shop. I will be closing my shop for a short while to have a little reset and refresh.

In case you were curious about what is going on over at this Patreon I keep talking about, here’s a little run-down of the exclusive secrets I’ve been sharing there:

• A lot of time-lapse and process videos; this includes Procreate time-lapses as well as sped-up videos of me drawing in sketchbooks or in ‘analogue’. These videos reveal a fair bit about how I compose and change a drawing as I work it through to completion.

• Work that hasn’t been published anywhere else, or seen by any other eyes (apart from my family peeking over my shoulder while I work!).

• Insights into my processes (for example, how I shoot artwork photos, or what kind of drafts I submit for commercial work), my studio, my home and daily life. I actually get in front of the camera and talk a fair bit, which is pretty much unprecedented elsewhere on the internet!
